About Our Staff

Betty, our Office Manager has been with Dr. Johnson since 1976. She is more than happy to help you with any billing, insurance or financial questions you may have.

Gwen, our Receptionist, has been with Dr. Johnson since 1989 and is extremely proficient in scheduling all your dental appointments. Gwen and her husband, Robert, enjoy spending time playing with their grandson.

Cheryl, our Certified Dental Assistant, is a 1973 graduate of Morton College and has been with Dr. Johnson since 1997.

Cathy, our Registered Dental Hygienist, is a 1983 graduate of Marquette University in Wisconsin, and has been with Dr. Johnson since 1992. She is also a part-time clinical Instructor in the Department of Dental Hygiene at Prairie State College. Cathy and her husband, John, have three daughters.

Alyse, our Registered Dental Hygienist is a 1991 graduate of Prairie State College in Illinois and has been with Dr. Johnson since 2005. Alyse and her husband, Tony, have four children, two boys and two girls.

Dr. Richard Johnson is a Chicago general and cosmetic dentist and is conveniently located on The Loop near Millennium Park, and welcomes new patients from the entire Chicagoland area, including downtown Chicago and suburbs. He provides dental services such as teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, porcelain crowns, dental implants, cosmetic tooth bonding, dental bridges, Invisalign clear braces, root canal therapy, digital x-rays, and general dental check-ups to promote dental health and help detect and prevent tooth pain, tooth decay, and gum disease, as well as oral cancer screenings.
